Thomas E. Pfeiffer, age 78 of Silver Lake, WI died Thursday evening October 17, 2019 at Froedtert Kenosha Hospital.
Thomas Edward Pfeiffer was born on December 22, 1940 in Kenosha, WI, the son of the late Edward H. and Ruth A. Jones Pfeiffer. On April 10, 1987 in Kenosha, WI, Thomas was united in marriage to Carol Ann Miller-Greune. Thomas has been a lifelong resident of Kenosha County.
Thomas served in the National Guard and then the U.S. Army during Viet Nam. He worked as an assembler and inspector for the Chrysler Corp. in Kenosha from July 13, 1973 until January 1, 1996. He was a member of the United Auto Worker’s Union. He was a former member of the Silver Lake Rescue Squad and Fire Dept., Salem Fire and the Town of Wheatland Fire Dept. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and boating.
Thomas is survived by: His wife Carol; son, Andrew (Lynn) McFarlane of Trevor, WI, step children, Mark Greune of Trevor, WI, Donna (Don) Hubelor of Trevor, WI, Betsy Greune of Paddock Lake, WI, Mary (Dave) Kaina of Villa Park, IL; 7 grandchildren and step grandchildren, Jake (Brittany) McFarlane, Dustin McFarlane, Dan (Yuko) Ligocki, Josh (Lara) Ligocki, Adam Greune, Kelly Greune and Spencer Kaina; 5 great grandchildren, Jessica McFarlane, Brylee McFarlane, Star Greune, Hana Ligocki and Koto Ligocki; 1 sister, Marilyn Knight of Kenosha, WI and a brother, James Pfeiffer of Oshkosh, WI. He was preceded in death by a stepdaughter Anne Greune Staniszewski.
The Pfeiffer Family will receive friends from 3:00PM until the Memorial Service at 6:00PM on Monday, October 21, 2019 at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory, 620 Legion Dr. Twin Lakes, WI. Memorial remembrances may be made to the Charity of One’s Choice in Thomas’s Name.
