Anastazia Chomiak, 88 of Elkhorn, WI, entered into the Lord's Kingdom on Saturday, October 30, 2021.  She was born March 22, 1933 in Ukraine, the daughter of the late William "Vasyl" and Maria (Iwanochko) Doroshewycz. Anastazia was a member of St. Joseph's Ukraine Catholic Church in Chicago, IL and sang in the church choir.  In her younger years, she enjoyed volleyball, dance troop and other Ukrainian groups. Anastazia was very gifted artist and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing, embroidery and pottery.  She also made beautiful Ukrainian Easter eggs. Anastazia loved to spend time in nature and gardening.  She created perennial and rock gardens and tended to her fruit and vegetable gardens.  Anastazia's diligence and fortitude were traits that she instilled in her children and family.  She always put her children and grandchildren before herself and made sure that each of them knew how much she loved them.  Anastazia was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother "Baba", sister, aunt and friend and will be deeply missed by her family.

Anastazia is survived by two children; Paul (Kim) Chomiak of Florida and Lana (Brian) Sinclair of Burlington, WI, seven grandchildren; Leah, Nicholas, Emily and Jennifer Chomiak, Carly (Adam) Law, Jack and James Sinclair, two sisters; Natalie Mandzij and Anna "Nusia" Doroshewycz, niece, Diana (Joe) Jester, their son, Tim Jester and two nephews; Roman (Alison) Mandzij and Jerry (Kathleen) Mandzij.  She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Ivan Doroshewycz, Bohdan Doroshewycz, infant sister, Anna Doroshewycz, and brother-in-law, Jerry Mandzij.

Funeral Service will be 12:00PM on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 5000 N. Cumberland Ave. Chicago, IL 60656.  Private Family Interment at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery in Chicago, IL.
