Arthur "Art" Gough, 75, of Union Grove, WI, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday March 24, 2016, at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in Union Grove, WI. Born in Clintonville, WI, on February 23, 1941, he was the son of the late William and Elaine (Sullivan) Gough. Art graduated from Clintonville High School and attended the UW-Whitewater. He then served in the United States Army from 1961 to 1967 and returned to Clintonville after his service.
Art spent his professional career in Financial Industry. Working in Racine, Fond Du Lac, Marshfield, Lake Geneva, Milwaukee & Madison. Art was an avid Packer Fan, who loved playing a variety of sports in his younger years. More recently in life, he enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren participate in many of those same activities, he was their biggest and loudest fan! Art had a great sense of humor, enjoyed talking sports and relished a good round of golf.
Art is survived by his three children: his daughter Christine (Rick) Clapper of Lake Geneva, WI and two sons Michael (Stephanie) Gough of Franklin, WI and Jason (Anna) Gough of Woodville, WI. Eight grandchildren: Jessica, Jenna (Finance' Ryne Harwick) & Robert Clapper, Gwyneth & Lilian Gough, Riley, Calvin & George Gough. Three Great Grandchildren: Brycen, Owen & Greyson Harwick.
A private Memorial Service will be Friday April 22, 2016 at Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery Union Grove, WI. On-line guestbook is at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com. Haase Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory of Elkhorn is assisting the family.
