Rev. Arthur Wayne Mattox age 70 of Twin Lakes, WI died April 26, 2024.  He was born in South Bend, Indiana on December 19, 1953.  The son of the late Clyde and Evelyn (Miller) Mattox.  On May 23, 1987 in Hebron, Indiana he was united in marriage to Lydia Miller.  He served in the United States Navy.     In 2017 Fr. Arthur became the priest of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Twin Lakes, WI. and St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of New Munster, WI.  He was also a member of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem and the Knights of Columbus.

Survived by his wife Lydia.   Father of Stephen (Shelby) Mattox, Michael Mattox and Zachary Mattox.  Brother to Larry (Susan) Mattox.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday May 2, 2024 at 11:00AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 701 N Lake Ave.  Twin Lakes, WI.  Burial to follow with Military Honors at St. John Cemetery.   Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 1, 2024 from 4:00PM until 6:00PM at St. John Catholic Church 701 N. Lake Ave.   Twin Lakes, WI. Memorials in his name may be made to either of his parishes or Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem.  The Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home of Twin Lakes, WI is honored to serve the Mattox family.
