Barbara J. Bennett, age 81 of Burlington, WI, passed away Saturday evening June 10th 2017 at Elder Cottages in Waterford, WI.

The former Barbara Jane Bratschi was born on April 25th, 1936 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of late George and Gertrude Lewandowski Bratschi. Barbara was united in marriage to Henry Bennett in 1972 in Elkhorn, WI.

Barbara enjoyed quilting and canning.

Barbara is survived by her children: Alice Gadth (Glenn) Applebee of Burlington, WI; Barbara Gadth of Burlington, WI; David Gadth of Hilmar, CA; and Tabatha J Bennett (Mel Collier) of Baltimore, MD. Her three siblings: George Bratschi of Chicago, IL; Dorothy Bratschi Schmidt of Milwaukee, WI; and William Bratschi of Chicago, IL. Further survived by 6 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Henry (Nov 24th, 1992), sons Charles and William Gadth and great-granddaughter Samantha Russell.

Visitation of family and friends will be held on Friday, June 16th, 2017 from 3pm until time of service at 5pm at Haase Lockwood Funeral Homes in Twin Lakes, WI. Burial will take place at Burlington cemetery in Burlington, WI at 6:30pm, Friday June 16th.
