Barbara Ann Pretzman, age 55, of Prescott, AZ, died Sunday October 16, 2016 at the Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott, AZ.

Barbara Ann was born on November 15, 1960 in Elkhorn, WI, the daughter of the late Robert and Beverly M. Pieters Pretzman.  Barbara lived in Pell Lake until moving to Arizona 35 years ago.  She graduated from Badger High School in Lake Geneva.  She attended college and obtained a Criminal Justice Degree.  She worked as an adult probation officer in Arizona.

Barbara also owned and operated a bar and restaurant in Camp Verde, AZ until she became confined to a wheelchair.

Barbara is survived by: cousins, Mike (Virgie) Carey of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Matt (Mary Jane) Carey Eaton Rapids, MI, Mark Carey of Lansing, MI; Aunts and uncles, Dick (Kathy) Pieters of Burlington, WI and Steven (Mary) Pieters of West Allis, WI.

She was preceded in death by her uncle Philip Carey and aunt, Phyllis Carey.
