Barbara A. Schoen (Sahara) born into eternal life on March 20, 2024.  Barbara was born on November 11, 1964 in Schaumburg, Illinois to Jeremiah and Patricia Schoen.  With a beautiful soul and smile, Barbara's true passion was caring for others.

In 1998 she, along with her late husband Victor, adopted their beloved son Jake. Working for Aroura health care, while caring for and helping her son grow throughout the years gave her an abundance of laughter and happiness. She had so many wonderful friends, and memories on Lauderdale Lakes that will be shared for years to come. Barbara is honored and remembered as joyful, warm, and always funny. Though adversities will always make an appearance in all lives, Barbara faced hers with strength, humor and courage.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father Jeremiah & Patricia Schoen, and her brother Robert Schoen.

She is survived by her son Jake Sahara, sister Bridget Slattery, brothers Tim Schoen, Jim Schoen, & Charlie Schoen.

A family organized Celebration of Life will take place at Lauderdale Lakes Country Club N7498 Country Club Drive Elkhorn, WI 53121 on Saturday May 4, 2024

from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
