IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Benjamin Michael
Davis
July 13, 1999 – March 8, 2024
Benjamin Michael Davis, 24 of Elkhorn WI, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 8 th, 2024, after a year and a half battle with cancer. Ben was born on July 13th, 1999, in Burlington, WI.
Ben was diagnosed with Stage 4 Rhabdomyosarcoma in July of 2022. Ben fought with amazing strength and determination. Ben never let his cancer define him and never let it stop him from living his life. He continued to work as a welder/fabricator at ProFab Welding all throughout his treatment. He had a passion for his "good old boys" car and continued to work on it and race with IODA(International Off-Road Drivers Association). Ben loved to camp, fish and deer hunt. He loved to ride his 4-wheeler, dirt bike, and snowmobile. Along with his passion for Kit Kats and cookie dough, he also found his way into he kitchen with taking an interest in cooking. He enjoyed his friends immensely, especially on game nights and golfing. Ben loved his family fiercely, always wanting to do things together "as a family". Ben had a special bond with his brother Ryan,he loved him deeply and would do anything for him. Ben was helpful, hardworking and strong. He forgave easily and loved unconditionally. He always wanted to make us proud. You did so and then some "B"!
Ben is survived by his parents Ann, and Jeff Hageli; Father Trent Davis; brother Ryan Hageli; grandparents Gene and Kathleen Morgan, Linda Davis; and dearest friend Jamie Strey.
Ben is preceded in death by his great grandparents, John and Anna O'Neill, grandmother Jeanne Hageli, and grandfather Gary Davis.
In lieu of flowers the family kindly request that memorials be sent to Ann Hageli for the EAHS Scholarship Fund. In honor of Ben, the family will be giving a Welding Scholarship to Ben's high school (Elkhorn Area High School) where he was first introduced to and fell in love with welding.
The Family sends its most heartfelt gratitude to Ben's team of doctors and nurses at the MACC Fund Center at Children's Hospital. They cared for Ben with love and compassion. It will never be forgotten.
