She was born April 4, 1920 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine (Ciaston) Zelek. She was united in marriage Henry L. Pyzyna on November 25, 1944 in Chicago, IL. He died August 03, 2001. Berenice was a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother grandmother and great-grandmother. She was survived by her children: Dennis A. (Jill) Pyzyna of Wauconda, IL, Robert (Renee) Pyzyna of Arlington Heights, IL, James (Barbara) Pyzyna of Schaumburg, IL and Debra (Edward) Pekin of Wheeling, IL. 8 grandchildren; Jessica (Brandon) Hill, Rebecca Pyzyna, Michael (Diana) Pyzyna, Michelle (Brian) Poteracki, Jeffrey Pyzyna, Jamie (Zachery) Jorgensen, Adam (Sarah) Pyzyna and Katy Pyzyna and 7 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law: Marion Swock of Sun City AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son John, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Memorial service will be 11:00 am Sunday October 19, 2014 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N. Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 10:00 am until time of service.
