Bernard "Bernie" Michael Hibbert age 67 of Elkhorn, WI passed away at Mercy Janesville Hospital on Tuesday November 5, 2024.  He was born on December 10, 1956; son of the late Roy and Norma (Sicken) Hibbert.  Bernie was a proud Veteran of the United States National Guard.  On August 25, 1984 Bernie married Debbie D. Kavanaugh at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Elkhorn, WI.  They spent their lives together in the Elkhorn community until the time of his passing.  Bernie was a CNC Machinist at Micro Precision, LLC for almost 40 years, and was very proud of his hard work.  In his free time, he was craftsman and a collector of many things including knives and fishing gear.  He was passionate about fishing and enjoyed anytime he could get with a rod and reel.  Bernie was also a Member of the Moose Club in Janesville where he played Bingo on a regular basis.  He was a die-hard PACKERS fan who never missed a game.

Bernie is survived by his wife; Debbie; son; Michael (Brandie Williams) Hibbert; siblings; Mary Ann Hibbert, Patrick (Tammy) Hibbert; nieces and nephew; Jamie, Courtney (Brandon) Wendt, Marcus (Shannon) Snodie; and beloved dog; Babe.  He is preceded in death by his parents; and numerous loving pets, waiting for him at the end of the rainbow bridge.

A Memorial Service will take place at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N. Wisconsin Street Elkhorn, WI on Thursday November 14, 2024 at 3:30PM officiated by Pastor Tom DeGroot.  Visitation will be held before the service beginning at 2:30PM.  We invite any family and friends interested to join us on Saturday November 16th for Bingo at the Janesville Moose Lodge (418 W Milwaukee St)  at 12:00pm to honor Bernie's memory.
