Betty J. Bottlemy age 85 of Genoa City, WI died Friday morning MAY 9, 2014 at Crystal Pines Rehab and Health Care Center in Crystal Lake, IL.
The former Betty Jane Cairns was born on March 7, 1929 in Burton Township, IL, the daughter of the late John W. and Wendella I. Dammeir Cairns. On October 21, 1950 in Grace Lutheran Church in Richmond, IL, Betty was united in marriage to Elmer J. Bottlemy. He preceded her in death on October 18, 2002. They lived in Hebron, IL after their marriage and moved to Bloomfield Township in 1963.
Betty was a homemaker and enjoyed her family. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Richmond.
Betty is survived by: Her children-Sherry (Charlie) Bottlemy-Pait of Morristown, TN, Brenda Stark of Little Elm, TX, Wendy Stam of Elkhorn, WI, Jeff (Laurie K.) of Spring Grove, IL and Gary (Laurie F.) of McHenry, IL; 9 grandchildren; 11 gr. Grandchildren; 1 sister-Martha Betts of Ringwood, IL; 3 brothers-Henry (Pat) Cairns of Hayward, WI, Marvin (Nancy) Cairns of Belvidere, IL and Harold Cairns of Woodstock, IL; a sister in law-Marilyn Cairns of Delavan, WI.
She was preceded in death by a brother-John Cairns and a son in law-Richard Stam.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Thursday May 15, 2014 at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home in Genoa City with Pastor Andy Tyrrell of Grace Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will be in Mound Prairie Cemetery in Twin Lakes. The Bottlemy Family will receive friends from 12:00PM until the time of services at the Funeral Home.
