Betty J. Cook, 88, of Elkhorn, WI died Sunday October 21, 2018 at Holton Manor Elkhorn, WI.  She was born June 2, 1930 in Neillsville, WI the daughter of the late Charles F. and Rovilla J. (Haskins) Hart.  She was united in marriage to William J. Cook on October 15, 1949.  William died December 14, 2005.  Betty enjoyed crafting, sewing and crocheting.  She was a devoted homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She is survived by her four children: Katherine (Bruce) Loper of Elkhorn, WI, Diane (Paul Schwertfeger) Shafer of Red Granite, WI, Beverly Cook of South Milwaukee, WI and Larry Cook of Beloit, WI, daughter-in-law: Francine Chrobak of Grafton, WI, ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and her brother Robert Hart of Delavan, WI.  Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William, son: David Cook, son-in-law: James Shafer and by nine siblings.  Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday October 25, 2018 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N.
