Beverley E. Gorkowski, 82, of Lisbon, WI, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Froedtert Hospital in Menomonee Falls, WI.  She was born May 10, 1941, in Augusta, WI, the daughter of the late Alfred and Esther (Olson) Knuth. Beverley graduated from Fairchild High School in May 1959. She was united in marriage to Thomas A. Gorkowski at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Kenosha, WI on February 4, 1961.

Early in her marriage, Beverley worked at Sears Roebuck credit department and Coopers, Inc. (now Jockey International). In 1969, Beverley began working at St. Catherine's Hospital in Kenosha, WI as a payroll/accounts payable clerk and spent the last thirteen years of her employment as the Director of Volunteers before retiring in 1990. She started a volunteer luncheon in 2002 that expanded to include former employees of St. Catherine's Hospital and is still held in June and November each year.

Beverley dearly loved staying in touch with family and friends. She was an avid letter writer and sender of cards. One of Beverley's great passions was researching the history of her family, and she compiled many binders filled with ancestral information over the years.

Beverley is survived by her daughter, Debra Tasch; granddaughter, Sarah Tasch; sister, Patricia (Gary) Moschkau; several nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 50 years, Thomas A. Gorkowski; and siblings Donald Knuth, Ralph Knuth, Dorothy Johnson, and Henry Knuth.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, February 9, 2024 at Evergreen Golf Club, N6246 US Highway 12, Elkhorn, WI. Family and friends are welcome to gather at 10:30 AM.
