Obituary

Beverly Ann (nee McIntyre) Pinch, 93 of Elkhorn, WI, died unexpectedly Friday, December 25, 2015 at Ridgestone Terrace in Elkhorn, WI.  She was born on September 22, 1922 in Red Wing, MN, the daughter of the late Elmer and Helen (Mueller) McIntyre.  Beverly was raised in La Crosse and graduated from UW-Lacrosse in 1944. She taught high school in Arcadia, WI from 1944 to 1948.  On June 23, 1946, Beverly was married to Merrill Pinch in La Crosse, WI.  They moved to East Troy in September, 1951 and she became an Elkhorn resident in April, 1993.  Beverly taught in the East Troy school system from 1960 to 1985 as librarian, an AV coordinator and advisor for various extra-curricular activities.  She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school, was a financial secretary for 14 years, long time member of the memorials committee, the scholarship committees, United Methodist Women and an officer in the Red Bird Circle.  Beverly was also a member of the East Troy Women's Club, Walworth County Retired Educators, WEA, NEA, La Crosse University Alumni Association, served several years on the East Troy Alumni Scholarship fund and volunteered at Lakeland Hospital.  Her life motto was "It is better to give than to receive."

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Marvin) Mosley of VA, five grandchildren; Rodney (Solveig) Mosley of VA, Gerren (Andrew) West of Elkhorn, WI, Sarah (Gary) McCormick of London, England, Jennifer (Todd) Bassett of UT and Dane Mosley of VA, 12 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Merrill, and brother, James McIntyre.

Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 730 N Wisconsin St Elkhorn, WI.  Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in East Troy, WI.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. James United Methodist Scholarship Fund or East Troy High School Alumni Scholarship Fund.  Online guest book at www.haaselockwoodfhs.com
