Bonnie B. Smith, age 89, of Lake Geneva, WI and formerly of Genoa City, WI, died Tuesday morning December 15, 2015 at Artisian Assisted Living.

The former Bonnie Bertha Christison was born on February 12, 1926 in Lafayette Township, WI, the daughter of the late Glen and Hattie Rohda Christison.  She has been a lifelong resident of Walworth County.  On July 23, 1949 in Lafayette Township, WI, Bonnie was united in marriage to Charles Smith.

Bonnie attended dress designing school after high school.  She worked as a seamstress for Kohn and Allen Store in Lake Geneva and then as a receptionist for Dr. Gaylord Culp in Lake Geneva.  She was an active member of the Calvary Community Church in Williams Bay, WI.  She enjoyed sewing and painting.  She was active in the Walworth County 4H program.

Bonnie is survived by her husband of 66 years-Charles of Lake Geneva, WI; 2 daughter's-Pamela Smith of Kokomo, Indiana and Donna (David) Kriofsky of Lake Geneva, WI.

Bonnie was preceded in death by 2 sisters-Betty and Bernice and 2 brothers-LeRoy and Harvey.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30AM Saturday December 19, 2015 at Calvary Community Church  with Pastor Chuck Cervenka officiating.  The Smith Family will receive friends from 9:30AM until the time of services at the Church.  Memorial remembrances may be made to the Calvary Community Church-Missions Fund, N2620 Harris Rd.
