IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brian R.
Burdick
September 25, 1961 – November 15, 2024
Brian Robert Burdick, September 25, 1961, to November 15, 2024. It is with the heaviest of hearts that we say goodbye to our father/grandfather/brother/uncle & friend. Brian passed away at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse WI. He was a Christian who believed in God and knew where he was going when he left this world. He would be running into the arms of the brother he lost almost 19 years ago, where he longed to be.
Brian had a few favorite pass times, sports (Brewers, GB Packers, Nasar, Bucks) occupied much of his time, the only thing more important to him were his children, and grandchildren. He was so very proud of them all, but his grandchildren were his entire world. He spent as much time as possible with each and every one of them. Brian was also an expert fisherman (in his mind at least) .... he would fish the same pond for months on end waiting for that big one to grab his hook!!!! His fishing stories will be shared for a very long time along with many laughs. Brian had a heart of gold, would do anything in his power to help whoever asked. He developed a lifelong friendship with his childhood friends, who were all at his bedside in his final hours. What a testimony of the love they all had for one another.
Brian is survived by his children; Kevin Burdick, Kelly (Randy) Sveen, Brian (Bethany Maassen) Burdick Jr. His siblings; Jane Burdick, Barbara Burdick, Jody Burdick, Kitty Green, and Leanne Burdick. His brothers, and sister-in-law; Chris (Valerie) Moen, Mitch (Stella) Moen, and Todd (Sandra) Moen, Robin Burdick. Brian is further survived by his grandchildren, Randy, Hally, Zakary, Landon, Austin, and Bella. As well as his very close friend Melanie Moen.
Brian is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Leonard Burdick.
