Carol Ann Sturgeon of Elkhorn, WI, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2024 at the age of 63 surrounded by her family.  Carol was a loving wife to Milton Scow.  She was also a loving mother to Stephanie (Scott) Pontel, Erik (Andrea) Sturgeon, Christopher (Sara) Sturgeon, and Michelle (Curtis) Babb.  Carol will be dearly missed by everyone that knew her.  She was a bright vibrant soul, the kindest woman who gave without expecting anything in return.  The love she had for her family was truly unconditional.  Carol was an avid Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers, Milwaukee Bucks and Brewers fan.  She enjoyed coloring and listening to her 90s country music. Carol was a gifted seamstress.

Carol is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren: Tucker Pontel, Maggie Sturgeon, Janelle Meyer, Andrew and Amelia Babb, Maizey, Tabby, and Betty Sturgeon, brother, Robert D. Whetstone, sisters, Cathy Ferraro and Karen Creager, mother, Marlene Jones, and many nephews and nieces.  Carol was preceded in death by her late husband, Dale W. Sturgeon II, son, Dale W. Sturgeon III, father, Robert A.Whetstone, stepfather, Charlie Jones, stepmother, Harriett Whetstone, grandson, Trevor Sturgeon, and her beloved Pepper Ann and Taffy Apple.
