Carol S. Styles age 90 of Elkhorn, WI died peacefully on Wednesday January 3, 2024 at Lakeland Health Care Center surrounded by her loving family members.  Carol was born on January 18, 1933; daughter of the late Frederick and Twyla (O'Neall) Smith.  Carol obtained her Associates Degree in Nursing and pursued a career as a Social Worker in elderly heath care services; she took much pride in caring for the people she cared for.  She was strong in her faith, and was a devoted member to Sugar Creek Lutheran Church.  In her past time, she enjoyed cooking and baking; and those that would get the chance to eat her food, enjoyed her cooking and baking just as much.  Other things Carol enjoyed was needlepoint, and keeping her mind sharp with crossword puzzles.  On January 29, 1951; Carol married Arthur Styles in Chicago, IL.  Together they raised 4 children, and were devoted partners until the time of her passing.  Carol is survived by her husband; she's also survived by her children; Arther (Ariel) Styles, Cherrie (Scott) Blaul, Cherrol (James) Abele, Alan (Ann) Styles; sister; Karen Gore; grandchildren; Aaron, Alexa, Kyra, Brittney, Courtney, Cody, Casey; 14 Great Grandchildren; and one Great-Great Grandchild.  She is preceded in death by her parents; Step Father Robert T. Gore; great-granddaughter, Kadyn; and many aunts and uncles.  A Memorial Service will be announced as the original date had to be shifted due to inclement weather.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in Carols name may be made to Sugar Creek Lutheran Church N5690 Cobblestone Road Elkhorn, WI 53121; Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Wisconsin Chapter 400 S.
