Carole J. Triebe, 84 of East Troy, WI, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center.  She was born on December 17, 1939, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Max C. and Eugenie (Sauer) Diebold.  Carole was united in marriage to Frederick E. Triebe on September 9, 1961, in Chicago, IL. Fred preceded her in death on March 3, 1997.  Together, they owned and operated the Lauderdale Landing for 20 years.  Carole enjoyed gardening and listening to classical music and musicals (her favorite was The Student Prince).  She was an avid animal lover, mainly horses and dogs.  Carole loved to travel with her daughter and son whenever possible, especially to Germany to visit family.

Carole is survived by her two children, Laura Triebe and Frederick (Nancy) Triebe Jr.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Fred Sr., and brother, Max Triebe.
