Cathy A. Francart, 75, of Mt. Pleasant, WI., passed away on Sunday, July 6th, 2025 at the Gardens of Mt. Pleasant. Cathy was born in Oshkosh, WI., on August 17th, 1949 to her parents Louis, and Mary-Lou (Bedore) Francart.

Cathy was a proud registered nurse graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay and worked for many years within the Onieda Nation community.  She was proud to be a descendant of Charles Michael de Langlade, "The Father of Wisconsin," and was proud of her Native American heritage from the Ojibwa tribe. She loved sharing the greater Green Bay area with Dana, Laura, and Stuart and spending time with her great nieces and nephews. She loved to read, and loved the Disney classics, with her favorite being Fantasia. Cathy loved singing in the choir and around a campfire with her guitar.

Cathy is survived by her siblings; Cindy Young, Pat Breuer, Louis "Skip" Francart Jr., and Bruce (Lisa) Francart. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews; Laura Francart, Dana (Dan) Mortensen, Stuart Francart, Kristina Francart, Nicky (Chris) Sherwin, Angela (Brett) Lobben, Erica Alfredson, and Brian Francart.  Cathy is further survived by many great-nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Cathy is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings in law; Scott Young, Dave Breuer, and Sandy Francart; and nephew, Roger "Lee" Schulz, Jr.

The family of Cathy will be celebrating her life privately. The family would like to thank the many individuals at the Gardens of Mt. Pleasant for their kindness and care. Haase-Lockwood & Associates are proud to have served the Francart family.
