Obituary

Charles "Chuck" E. Schenning age 74 died July 20, 2025.  He was born in Waukegan, IL on April 21, 1951.  The son of the late Milton and Marilyn (Krahn) Schenning.   On September 15, 1973, at St. John's Catholic Church he was united in marriage to Rebecca Kirk.

Chuck served the Wheatland Fire Dept for many years and served as Chief from 1985 to 1987.  He was an avid NASCAR fan.  He also liked to watch the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and especially the WIAA Girls and Boys Basketball Tournament.  Chuck starting his working at Motor Parts in Burlington, WI and then went on to Mueller Pipeline.  He then went on to work for Huemann Well where he worked until retirement in 2015.

Survived by his wife Rebecca.  Father to Kelly (Robert) Hole. Grandfather to Kayla Schenning and David Hole.  Brother to Tom (Debbie) Schenning, Bill (Buiam) Schenning, Paul Schenning and Donna (Brian) Bird.  He was preceded in death by his parents Milton and Marilyn Schenning and In-laws Robert and Irene Kirk.

Visitation will be held on Sunday July 27, 2025, from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory 620 Legion Dr.  Twin Lakes, WI.  Private inurnment at St. Johns Cemetery.  Memorials may be given to the Wheatland Fire Dept or a charity of your choice.   The Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Twin Lakes, WI is honored to serve the Schenning family.
