Chester J. Peterson age 87 Passed Away Tuesday June 24, 2014 at Wisconsin Veterans Home in Dover, WI. He was born on February 10, 1927 in Minnesota to the late Carl and Jesse (Knutson) Peterson. He was united in marriage on August 31, 1954 in Elko, Nevada to Herleen Morse who preceded him in death on August 30, 1998. During his early life he was loving placed in the care of his Aunt and Uncle Robert & Lois Knutson of Ladysmith, WI. Chester was a Pastor at the Boyceville Baptist Church. He served in the United States Navy. He was a past member of the American Legion Post in Ladysmith, WI. He enjoyed Beekeeping and sold honey to Sue Bee Honey. He enjoyed Golfing, Gardening and Woodworking. He also enjoyed writing papers on the Bible.
He is survived by children: Clarence (Penny) Peterson, Howard (Sherry) Peterson, Lois (William) Tuttamore and Benjamin (Diane) Peterson. Further survived by 11 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Trista Tuttamore and1 Sister and 5 Brothers.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 on Tuesday July 1, 2014 at Community Baptist Church 203 N. Fourth St. Silver Lake, WI. Burial will be at Wayside Cemetery in Barron, WI.
