Obituary

Chris L. Rainey, age 58, of Burlington, WI, passed away on December 26, 2023. He was born on August 2, 1965, in Park Ridge, IL, the son of Ralph and Elizabeth (Burnside) Rainey. He was united in marriage to Patty (Fleming) on August 12, 1989. Chris enjoyed fishing, dirt bike riding and snowmobiling with family and friends. He enjoyed teaching others how to as well and having garage night fixing all the "toys".   It was a rare day when he didn't catch a fish but always smiled when anybody in the boat caught one, especially someone new to fishing.  He loved sharing stories, going to Camp Nesbit and helping family and friends. He was a true craftsman in woodworking. He is missed dearly by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife; Patty Rainey, children; Christopher (Krystal), Jessica, Nicholas, Joshua, Rebecca, Amanda, Jonathon, sisters; Linda Tilburn and Sharon (Jim) Ruebausen, brother; Ralph D. Rainey and four grandchildren; Keaton, Kyson, Kanon and Kohen

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; LeRoy and Elizabeth Burnside, paternal grandparents; Ralph and Margaret Rainey Sr. and other family members.
