Cindy L. Kummerow, 67, of Lake Geneva, WI passed away peacefully at home on Saturday January 25th, 2025. Cindy was born in Portage WI, on April 24th, 1957 to the late Edward and Joy Ann (Walters) Coon.

She was formerly married to Chuck Kummerow and together they share two children. In 1992, she met her soulmate, Kenneth Kellison. Together they shared love and life together for over 30 years.

Cindy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She took great joy in making memories with them, even if it was just sitting on her front porch catching up.

Cindy loved to dance, most often creating her unique style, with a smile on her face. She loved music! Making it a point to attend every Country Thunder festival since 1996 with her family and grandchildren. So many wonderful memories were made.

When she wasn't dancing, you could find her doing her crosswords and scratchers. Cindy also found solace in gardening, canning, spending time outdoors and having bonfires.

Cindy was the life of the party, bringing her bright beautiful smile and contagious laugh everywhere she went.

She will be remembered for loving unconditionally and caring deeply for those she loved and those that loved her. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends and many more whose lives she touched.

Cindy is survived by her soulmate Ken Kellison; her children Melissa (Dave LaRue) Kummerow and Charles Kummerow Jr, along with her grandchildren: Taylor, Kayla, Austin, Aubrie, Chloie and Allexa. Siblings: Terry (Chris Thelen) Coon, Vickie Mills, Tim (Chris) Coon, Dean (Sue) Coon and Rhonda (Michael) Murphy. Sister-in-law May Ann Coon- O'Donovan. Many nieces and nephews, and many extended family and friends. Former husband and friend Chuck Kummerow, along with her fur baby Hank.

Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Bruce Coon, and her brother-in-law, Mike Mills. In addition to her fur babies Slippers, Mila, and Brandy.

A memorial service will be held for Cindy on Friday, February 7th, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory, 620 Legion Dr., Twin Lakes, WI. 53181.
