Clara L Johnson

Clara L Johnson, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026, in Genoa City, Wisconsin, surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 9, 1943, in Evergreen Park, Illinois, Clara lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a deep commitment to her family and community.

For over 30 years, she dedicated herself to her career at Walmart in Lake Geneva, where her warm spirit and friendly demeanor touched the lives of many. Clara's work was not just a job; it was an extension of her kindness, exemplifying her passion for serving others.

Clara was a woman with a heart full of adventure. She had a remarkable love for travel, particularly to destinations near water, where she found joy and solace. Many memories were made camping with granny, and her beloved family and friends, sharing stories, laughter, and creating bonds that would last a lifetime. Game nights were special occasions for Clara, especially when surrounded by her family and friends, engaging in fun-filled activities reminiscent of nursing home games, which brought her much happiness.

Clara is survived by her daughters Sandra (Truman) Pope, Joann (John) Kraemer, Crystal (Michael) Holden, and Tracie (Wayne) Sertzel, and her son Rocky Johnson (Jean), with a thriving legacy of 9 grandchildren: Stephanie (Rob), Kayla (Christian), Truman J, Jeremiah, Jonathon (Bailey), Courtney (Colin), Chandler (Trisha), and Chase, 8 great-grandchildren with two more on the way: Adalinn, Colin, Evelin, Zeke, Johannah, Westlynn, Graham, Scarlett, and 9 special grandpuppies. "Clara Lou" also leaves behind sister Barb (John), nephew Robert, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family who will carry her memory forward.

She was predeceased by her beloved father John Busek, mother Louise Clara (Bowen), husband Hubert Johnson, her brothers John Busek and Larry Busek, and her grandson Joshua Kraemer, who she holds dearly in her heart, even in her absence. Clara's remarkable spirit, her unwavering love, and her devotion to family will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In this time of sorrow, let us cherish the beautiful moments shared with Clara and remember her as a vibrant soul who enriched our lives with her kindness and love. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
