Clarence W. Kreft, 93 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away Monday, August 6, 2018 at Holton Manor in Elkhorn.  He was born April 9, 1925 in Illinois, the son of Herman and Alice (Mathis) Kreft.  He was raised and worked on the family farm. Clarence later worked as a polisher for Holton Band Instruments. He was an active member of the First Lutheran Church of Elkhorn, where Clarence played Dart Ball for 44 years, served at treasurer for 20 years and the church council.  He was an avid Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packer fan. Clarence is survived by his loving brother and sister: Doris Salem and Chester (Linda) Kreft, three nieces and nephew: Alice (James) Lembach, Barry (Holly) Kreft and Melissa (Andrew) Walter, and six great-nieces and nephews: Joseph Lembach, Austin Kreft, Nolan Walter, Allison Kreft, Logan and Taylor Walter. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Joseph Salem. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at First Lutheran Church, 415 S. Devendorf St. Elkhorn with Pastor Preston Heuer officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until service time Thursday at church.
