Conrado M. Almario

Conrado M. Almario, age 87, of Elkhorn, Wisconsin, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. He was born on November 26, 1938, in Lumban,Laguna, Philippines, the son of the late Francisco and Paciencia (Macahasa) Almario. He was united in marriage to his loving wife, Erlinda (Yanong) Almario on October 27, 1984, at Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church in Niles, IL. Together, they built a beautiful family and life.

Conrado first came to the United States on December 16, 1966. He received his Juris Doctor of Law in 1969 from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He worked at the McHenry Title Company in Woodstock, Illinois and passed the bar in 1972.

Conrado’s professional journey later led him to the Office of the General Counsel, at the United States Department of Agriculture where he served with distinction as an attorney for 41 years. He had a talent and passion for knowledge and hard work that served him well there. He retired on January 3, 2019.

Throughout his lifetime he was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He was known for his quiet demeanor, yet fun sense of humor and gift for telling jokes. His closest friends and family were drawn to his smile, his generosity and his strong love for his family.

Conrado is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Paciencia Almario.

Conrado is survived by his wife, Erlinda Almario, his son, Edward Almario, his daughter, Frances and her husband Henry Ira, along with his grandsons Jonah Ira and Nathan Ira.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the funeral home, 730 N. Wisconsin St., Elkhorn, WI, 53121, from 6:00PM-9:00PM. A private graveside service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Celebration on Wells, 422 S Wells St., Lake Geneva, WI, 53147 from 1:30PM-5:00PM.
