Crystal D. Schmidt, age 54, of Delavan, WI, died Saturday January 30, 2016 at her home.

The former Crystal Dawn Lattin was born on February 22, 1961 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Harry and Fern L. Conley Lattin.  Crystal graduated from Badger High School in Lake Geneva.   On December 26, 1987, in Elkhorn, WI, Crystal was united in marriage to Gary E. Schmidt.  They lived in Elkhorn, WI. and Zenda, WI before moving to Delavan, WI.

Crystal formerly worked with her mother doing housecleaning and was a cosmotologist.  She enjoyed playing the piano and cooking.

Crystal is survived by:  Her husband-Gary; her mother Fern Conley of Antioch, IL; 1 daughter-Nikki Schmidt of Madison, WI; 1 son-Khi McCreary of Delavan, WI and a stepdaughter-Toby Bowers of Ft. Myers, FL.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Thursday February 4, 2016 at the Haase-Lockwood and Associates Funeral Home and Crematory in Genoa City.  The Schmidt Family will receive friends from 12:00PM until the time of services at the Funeral Home.  Memorial Remembrances may be made to the Schmidt Family in care of Haase-Lockwood & Assoc.
