Curtis "Curt" F. Kruger, age 61, of Genoa City, WI, passed away at home on Sunday, March 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 19, 1963 in Granite City, IL, the son of the late Charles and Carolyn (Higgs) Kruger. Curt and his loving wife, Lisa (Werner) were united in marriage on July 10, 1993 at Little Prairie Church in Illinois. They created a beautiful family and life together. Curt enjoyed spending time outdoors. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish. He was known to be someone who was very focused on his work, family, and those he cared about. Curt was also known to be very hardworking, loyal, had integrity that was uncompromising, was Mr. fix it, was hands on and was always willing to step up to help others. Not only was he known as a wonderful dad, husband, friend and employee, but he was always a phone call away to help with anything you needed help with. As he became less available to help someone in a time of need, he would happily help just as much by walking them through the task over the phone. His handshakes were his word that he would keep. He was a wonderful person who touched the lives of many. He will be deeply missed.

Curt is survived by his loving wife; Lisa, children; Amanda (Gregg) Koenig and Chase F. (Sara) Kruger, sister; Mary Denise Kruger, grandchildren; Emma Carole and Izzabelle "Izzie" Koenig and beloved nieces and nephews

Curt is preceded in death by his parents; Charles and Carolyn Kruger, brother; Charles F. Kruger, son; Charles F. "Charlie" Kruger and beloved aunts and uncles.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the funeral home, 620 Legion Dr., Twin Lakes, WI, 53181, at 3:30PM. A visitation will take place at the funeral home from 1:00PM until the time of service.
