Cynthia L. LeBeau

Cynthia L. LeBeau of Delavan WI passed away September 1, 2026.

Born April 30, 1953 in Evergreen Park IL.

Cynthia was one of eight girls in the Benedict Family. She will be remembered as a gentle and kindhearted person who cherished family gatherings.

Cyn was active with the Keeshond Club, and enjoyed competing with her dogs in California where she lived most of her adult life. She was a member of Mensa, loved reading and had an appreciation for beautiful hardbound books. Cyn aspired to be a published writer, was creative and loved art.

Cynthia was proceeded in death by her parents Ross and Lois Benedict, sister Carrie Sugrue VanBerschot, and brother in law Lynn Smith. She will be dearly missed by her sisters: Cheryl Benedict, Colleen Newkirk, Christine Benedict-Smith, Cecilia Benedict-Paddock, Celeste Powell, Claudia Brazier; brothers in law: Daryl Paddock, David Brazier, along with many much loved nieces and nephews.

A family gathering will be held at a later date.

Cynthia’s arrangements are under the care of Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Elkhorn, WI with final resting at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Wheaton IL.
