Dale E. Glenn of Davis, IL, formerly of Elkhorn, WI, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 26, 2022 at his home. He was born August 7, 1948 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Junior "Earl" and Catherine (Lang) Glenn. He served in the United States Army. Dale owned and was the chef at Goldie's in Chicago, IL and worked as the Food Service Director at Ace Coffee Bar for 24 years. He was united in marriage to Carol Ann Hartman on February 14, 1988 in Chicago, IL. Dale had a passion of cooking throughout his entire life. He was an avid fisherman.
Dale is survived by his two children, Laura (Mark) Peppers of Davis, IL, Paul (Ann Marie) Bakun of Plainfield, IL, fourteen grandchildren: Rebecca, Joshua (Elizabeth), Anthony, Mark Jr. (Joanna), Naomi (Eean), Austin, William (Sarah), Elisabeth, Kyle (Julianna, Esther, Katlyn, Gregory, Joseph and Samuel, thirteen great-grandchildren with two more on the way, his sister, Cheryl (Glen) Brittingham and sister-in-law, Karen Glenn. He was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife of 33 years, Carol Ann Glenn, brother, Richard Glenn and sister, Wendy Bonder.
Funeral Service will be 1:30PM on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates funeral Homes and Crematory, 730 N. Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI. Visitation will be 1:00PM until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Tibbets, WI.
