David W. Maynard, age 68 of Twin Lakes, WI, died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 5th, 2020 in Madison, WI. Dave passed away in his racing gear, doing what he loved.

David was born on December 4th, 1951 in Park Ridge, IL to the late Sally (Randolph) Maynard.

Dave was united in marriage with his wife, Sandra Kranz, in 1999. Dave loved to work. He worked for over 50 yrs. as a professional painting contractor taking great pride in all his work, in and out of his job. Dave was an auto racing enthusiast, racing all throughout Wisconsin and Illinois area making himself a name to be remembered. He had had a dream of racing cars as a kid, a dream, only to be made true later in his life starting at the age of 50. He enjoyed playing pool, performing Karaoke—especially Elvis and being with good friends. He loved his wife, his children, and goofing off and playing with his grandchildren.

David is survived by his loving wife, Sandra, his children; David J. Maynard (Erica Dreyer) and Jessica (Jay) Lopez, his step-sons; Marshall and Steven Spears, and grandchildren; Aria Maynard, Evan Lopez, Adelynn Maynard, and Ellie Lopez.

Private memorial service to be held by the family at a later date. Haase Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Twin Lakes, WI is assisting the family.
