David E. Schlueter, 89 of Lake Geneva, WI, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Sage Meadow in Lake Geneva, WI.  He was born June 24, 1932 in Merrill, WI, the son of the late Ervin and Irene (Beyersdorff) Schlueter.  Dave graduated from high school in Wausau, WI.  He spent his working career as a barber in Milwaukee.  Dave was united in marriage to Jalaine Neumann on September 12, 1955 in Rib Mountain, WI.  She preceded him in death on August 31, 1999. Dave was later united in marriage to Sherry Wells on May 9, 2001 in Delavan, WI.  Sherry also preceded him in death on September 9, 2018.  Dave loved to travel by train and visit national parks.  He also enjoyed fishing, reading and watching shows about history.

Dave is survived by his two step-children; Jason (Rachel) Surprise and Kelly (Travis) Olson, two step-grandchildren, Madelyn and Gunner Olson, brother, Joel Schlueter, nephew, ElRoy Schlueter and nine brothers and sisters-in-law; Dale Wells, Duane Wells, Ken (Alice) Wells, John (Renee) Wells, Mike (Geri) Wells, Judy (Bill) Cononico, Debbie (Wilmer) Klemp, Maureen Wells and Connie (Bob) Martin.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his two wives, Jalaine and Sherry.

Private Family Inurnment will be at Restlawn Memorial Park in Wausau, WI.  Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory completed arrangements for the Schlueter Family.
