David P. Smith, age 69, of Salem Lakes, WI, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024. He was born on April 8, 1955. He was united in marriage with Patricia on September 16, 1988, in Fort Meyers Beach, FL. Together they created a beautiful life and were happily married until his passing. During his lifetime, Dave served in the Marine Corps as a pilot during the Vietnam war. He loved flying planes and proudly served his country. Those who served with him knew him as Mongoose and his F4E fighter jet as Pegasus. Dave also loved spending time outdoors, landscaping, watching WWE, watching football, spending time with his friends and listening to blue grass country music. The things he loved most was his faith, his family and his dogs. He is loved by all his family and will be deeply missed.

Dave is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; stepchildren, Patty (Steve) Hayes, Gary (Pam) Colclasure, Randy (Tami) Colclasure and Pam (Chris) Reilly; ten grandchildren, Matt and Kelsey Hayes, Drew (Sarah) Colclasure, Deitra (Jake) Ring, Alex Colclasure, Amanda (Mike) Balazay, Logan Colclasure and Shane, Nolan and Evan Reilly and great grandchildren; Kris Sanders and Willow Ring.
