Debra A. Doebert, 67 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024, at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center.  She was born September 20, 1956, in Palatine, IL, the daughter of Clarence and Jane (Schroeder) Hagenow.  Debbie was united in marriage to John R. Doebert on November 8, 1980, in Woodstock, IL.  She chaperoned and drove school buses with Jones for the School of the Deaf for many years.  Debbie enjoyed playing cards and board games with her family.  She loved to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Debbie is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, John, daughter, Jennifer (Duane) Hadley, two grandchildren: Nathan and Bayleigh Hadley, mother, Jane Hagenow, and three siblings: LouAnn (Al) Krejci, Laurie (Tom) Brophy, and Mark (Jacquie) Hagenow, and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Hagenow.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 5:00 to 7:00PM on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory, 730 N. Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI 53121.  In lieu of flowers, memorial may be directed to the Wisconsin School for the Deaf, 309 W.
