Dennis J. Marino, age 77 formerly of New Munster, WI. died Tuesday November 16, 2021 at the Aurora Medical Center - Kenosha. Dennis James Marino was born on April 23, 1944 in Chicago, IL., the son of the late Lawrence and Grace Heim Marino.  On December 18, 1971 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in New Munster, WI. Dennis was united in marriage to Heather MacConnachie.  Heather preceded him in death on February 2, 1988. Dennis owned and operated Marino's Restaurant which he took over from his father until 1999 and also Marino's Country Aire from 1990 until 2015. Dennis was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Kenosha.  He was also a member of the Kenosha County Tavern League.   He enjoyed hunting, trap shooting, traveling worldwide, playing cards and games, cooking and collecting coins.  He was an avid Green Bay Packer, Bucks, New York Yankees, Cubs and Brewers fan.  He was devoted to all of his grandchildren. Dennis is survived by:  2 daughter's, Heather (Brian) Boeckenstedt of New Munster, WI. and Rebecca (Ted) Wisnefski of Oak Creek, WI.; 5 grandchildren, Bryce, Brandon and Brielle Boeckenstedt and Luke and Evelyn Wisnefski; 1 brother, Anthony (Marge) Marino of Las Vegas, NV. ; 2 sisters, Phyllis (Richard) Lipinski of Venice, FL. and Linda Watson of Coral Springs, FL. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence and Grace Marino; his wife, Heather, a brother Lawrence, Jr. and a sister Joann Reesey. A Mass and Christian Burial will be held at 10:00AM Saturday December 4, 2021 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 6301 344th Ave. New Munster, WI.  Inurnment will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery.  There will be a Reception/Celebration of Life from 12:00PM until 4:00PM at Bella Vita Banquets, 34816 Geneva Road. Burlington, WI. In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc. in Memory of Dennis Marino. The Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home and Crematory of Twin Lakes is handling arrangements for the Marino Family.
