Dennis J. Peterson, 63 of Elkhorn, WI, died Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Mercy Hospital & Trauma Center in Janesville, WI.  He was born November 22, 1956, the son of the late Arthur and Mary (Baumeister) Peterson.  He was united in marriage to Ella Barry. Dennis worked at Advanced Fittings in Elkhorn, WI.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether he was fishing or riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.  Dennis served in the United States Marine Corp.

Dennis is survived by his five children; Mark (Kyle) Peterson of Elkhorn, WI, Kathleen (Tom Pullen)  Wilhite of Whitewater, WI, Jason (Sherilyn Hoyle) Wilhite of Amboy, Il, Andrew Peterson of Waukesha, WI, Chad (Heather Clark) Peterson, ten grandchildren; Connor, Cailin and Carson Peterson, Brianna (David Fowler) Wilhite, Jacob, Kaitlyn and Aurora Wilhite, Eriahanna Wade, Alessandra Inclan-Peterson and Lailah Peterson, and two brothers; David (Wendy) Peterson and Mike (Vicki) Stern both of Elkhorn, WI.  He was preceded in death by his parents and former wife, Ella.

Celebration of Life for Dennis will be held 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory, 730 N Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI.  Interment will follow with Military Honors at Mt.
