Diane Mary Bretta, age 84, of Lake Geneva, WI, and formerly of Twin Lakes, WI, died on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Geneva Lake Manor. Daughter of the late Russel and Edythe (nee Mohr) Mattern, Diane was born on February 4, 1940, in Chicago, IL. She was united in marriage to the late Edward Bretta on February 18, 1961, in Chicago. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Twin Lakes, taught CCD, and was a Girl Scouts Troop Leader. In her free time, Diane enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. She loved animals and the outdoors.

Diane is survived by her children, Roxanne (Paul) Walczynski and Derrick (Kelly) Bretta; and one grandchild, Seth Bretta.

In keeping with Diane's wishes, no funeral services will be held. Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory of Twin Lakes is honored to serve the Bretta family.
