D'Narda Nelson Wells age 86 of Powers Lake, WI. Died peacefully August 9, 2017 at her home.  She was born in Milwaukee, WI. on June 2, 1931.  The daughter of the late Harold and Dorothy (Zuhde) Nelson.  She was united in marriage to Ralph Earl Wells on April 27, 1957 at Park Row Lutheran Church, Lake Geneva, WI. Her husband preceded her in death on January 12, 2014.

Dee was the owner of Wells Spiral Stairs in Genoa City, WI and the Richmond Flea Market in Richmond, IL. She spent many years gathering information and writing two books about the history of the Powers Lake area.   She received her Bachelor's Degree in History at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida.  She was a long-time member of the Powers Lake Yacht Club and an avid gardener, bridge player and golfer. She loved her family, friends, Powers Lake and winters in Florida.

She is survived by her two children Lory (Paul) Wells Taylor and Steve (Wendy) Wells.  Grandmother of Matthew (Hannah) Wells and Kevin Wells.  Sister of Haroldean (Robert) Ross.
