Donald (Don) H. Davis, 62, of Genoa City, WI passed away on February 10th, 2023, while surrounded by family.

Born on December 25th, 1960, to the late Jack and Elizabeth (Sontag) Davis, Don grew up in Lake Geneva, WI with his older brother Doug. Throughout his life, Don loved being outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with family and friends. Don was an excellent cook, an infamous jokester, and a skilled gardener. He could always be counted on to share freshly caught fish or to get others to smile. Inspired by his brother Doug, he collected numerous hand-carved fish and duck decoys. Don also loved watching for deer and other wildlife wherever he went. He was especially fond of watching the birds and squirrels on his birdfeeders at home.

Don will be remembered for working hard, loving hard, and laughing hard. As a father, his work ethic, wit, and kindness left a lasting mark on his children's lives. He was a true friend to so many, whether friendship meant he was wielding a middle finger or sharing a drink (or two). In his last act of kindness, Don was able to contribute as an organ donor to offer others the possibility of a better life. We will always be immeasurably proud of him. In celebrating his life, he would want to remind us that every day above ground is a good day.

Don is survived by his two children, his daughter Katlynne Davis and his son Dakota Davis. He is further survived by his nephew Brian Davis and niece Erin Davis, along with aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother Doug Davis and his parents, Jack and Elizabeth.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 18th from 11 to 1:30 at the Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home, 113 Freeman St. in Genoa City, WI. Visitation will be held from 11 to 12 and from 12:30 to 1:30, with a short service starting at 12. The family is grateful for any flowers or contributions towards Don's services.
