Donald "Donnie" S. Wolfram

Donald “Donnie” S. Wolfram, age 80, of East Troy, WI, passed away surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, December 11, 2025. He was born on December 30, 1944, in Watertown, WI. The son of the late Francis and Gladys (Krogan) Wolfram. Donnie and his wife, Joan (Braun) Wolfram were united in marriage in Waukegan, IL, on November 12, 1968. For fifty-seven beautiful years, they have been married. They created a beautiful life together and were truly the definition of best friends. During his life, he proudly served in the Army National Guard. He also proudly worked for Waukesha Engine for 44 years, where he was a trucker, then a machinist, then head of union and eventually was management before he retired. He was a man of many talents. He was a very hard worker, he enjoyed camping, painting cars as a side job, was a snowmobiler in his earlier years, and loved mowing the grass. His cars were very precious to him, and he took very good care of them. He made sure to always keep his hot rods polished and looking good. He was known as a joker, very caring and thoughtful and enjoyed working with the people that he worked with. He was the kindest and most selfless person. He was a fair and honest man who proudly had many titles, a husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. What he loved the most was spending time with his family, his grandkids and especially his wife, Joan. He is very loved and will be dearly missed.

Donnie is survived by his wife, Joan; children Mark and Mary (Pat) Leahy; grandchildren, Samantha Wolfram, Evan Leahy, Kylee (Tyler) Robers and Keenan Leahy and great grandchildren, Nevaeh Leahy and Elaina Robers.

Donnie is preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Gladys Wolfram and father and mother-in-law, Edward and Heddie Braun.

A memorial service will take place on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at the funeral home, 730 N Wisconsin St., Elkhorn, WI, 53121, at 4:00PM. A visitation will take place at the funeral home from 2:00PM until the time of service.
