Donald Lee Willms, 89 of Lake Geneva, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022 at Geneva Lake Manor.  Donald was born October 12, 1932, the son of the late Clarence and Laura (Anderson) Willms.  Donald grew up and joined the Air Force, where he eventually completed his schooling. He married Jean A. Holm on September 13, 1958 at Our Saviors Lutheran church of Milwaukee, WI.  Together they raised a family and shared their life together until the time of her passing in December 2020.  Among his proud service of the Air Force, Donald was a lover of nature and enjoyed it by spending time in it by canoeing, landscaping, hunting, fishing, bee keeping and taxidermy.  Donald had a game farm for many years and raised a variety of birds. He also had a talent for making wine, but above all, he was family man, and deeply cared for his children and grandchildren.  Donald is survived by his children; Kathy (Ron) Meinecke, Cheryl Kadow, Marie (Bryce) Perrett; siblings; Kenny (Mary) Willms, Lorraine (Duane) Markham, Darlene Hutchins; six grandchildren: Michelle, Melissa, Karissa, Kevin, Aimee and Trenton;  six great-grandchildren; Alexa, Logan, James, Salome, Masen, and Cora.  Donald is preceded in death by his parents; Clarence and Laura, loving wife of 61 years, Jean; and brothers; Clarence Jr., William, and Marvin.

Memorial Service will be 11:00AM on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 415 Devendorf St. Elkhorn, WI, with Pastor Wayne Meier officiating. Visitation will be 10:00AM until service time at the church.  Private Family Burial will be Adams Cemetery in East Troy, WI. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Donald's name may be directed to First Evangelical Lutheran School, 415 Devendorf St. Elkhorn, WI.
