Donna Lota (Werschkul) Lee, 82 of Elkhorn, Wisconsin, died on Sunday, February 23, 2025. She was born on December 6th, 1942. Family and faith were at the center of Donna's world. She showed God's love to anyone she encountered. Her love even extended to animals. She would take in any animal that needed a home. She was even nicknamed "Elly May" after the character by the same name in the '60's sitcom "The Beverly Hillbillies," known for her affinity for animals. Those who knew Donna would say she was the sweetest and kindest woman, but was also stubborn and a spitfire. She was incredibly hard working all her life, determined, strong, and someone you could depend on. Donna loved her two children deeply, and when her five granddaughters came around she put her energy into being the best grandmother for them. They were her favorite people to brag about. Donna will be missed immensely, but she is now safely resting in God's arms.

Donna is survived by her two children, Nicholas Lee and Marit Lee (Lisa); her grandchildren, Grace Zauche (Josh), Maddie Lee, Signe Lee, Norah Lee, and Micah Lee; her great-grandchild, Ember Zauche. She is also survived by her siblings, Duane Seward (Dennis), Diane Werschkul, Darlene Olenoski (Richard), and Michael Werschkul, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Lota Werschkul, nephew, Scott Dereczynski, and sister-in-law, Penny Werschkul.

Donna's funeral will be held at HAASE-LOCKWOOD FUNERAL HOMES, 113 Freeman Street, 53128, Genoa City, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. Haase-Lockwood funeral home is proud to have served the Lee family.
