Doris E. Richter age 91 of Twin Lakes, WI died Thursday Nov. 20, 2014 at her home.
The former Doris Elaine Sarbacker was born on April 29, 1923 in Silver Lake, WI the daughter of the late William and Mable Miller Sarbacker. On April 15, 1941 in Crown Point, Indiana, Doris was united in marriage to Robert Richter. He preceded her in death on October 2, 1998.
Doris worked for many years as a cook for the Intermatic Corp. in Spring Grove, IL. She was an active member of Peace Ev. Lutheran Church in Wilmot, WI where she was a member of the Ladies Aid. She enjoyed baking, doing ceramics and playing cards.
Doris is survived by: 1 daughter- Fay (Alfred) Baker of Twin Lakes, WI; 6 grandchildren-Billy, Lisa, Jarad, Amanda, April and Adam; 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: 1 son-Gary Richter; a grandson Alfred and a sister Eleanore Lake.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday Nov. 25, 2014 at Peace Ev. Lutheran Church in Wilmot, WI with Pastor James Fischer officiating. Interment will be in Wilmot Cemetery. The Richter Family will receive friends from 4:00PM to 8:00PM Monday at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home in Twin Lakes and after 10:00AM Tuesday at the Church.
