Dorothy Ann Carroll joined the love of her life Clark, daughter Bonnie and son Gary in heaven on August 24, 2014 at the age of 94. Dorothy was surrounded by loving family and fashioned in purple in the comfort of her home in Franklin, WI. She was born June 2, 1920 in Stockton, IL, the daughter of Glenn and Marguerite Perry. She married Clark E. Carroll on Jan. 1, 1939 in Stockton, IL and raised 5 children together. Clark and Dorothy operated the Dor-Clark Egg Farm of Elkhorn, WI for over 30 years.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Jill Carroll of Franklin, WI, and Vikki (William) LaCroix of Williams Bay, WI; son, Rick (Debbie) Carroll of Elkhorn, WI.; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; nephew Geoff (Rhonda) Perry and a multitude of friends. She is preceded in death by husband Clark, daughter Bonnie Dinsmore, son Gary Carroll and brother, Stan Perry.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Elkhorn, WI. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Arrangements were completed by Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory, Elkhorn. Memorials can be made to the Milwaukee Rescue Mission.
