Dorothy M. Pauley 91 of Whitewater, WI died on Saturday February 4, 2023 at Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.  Dorothy was born on May 2, 1931; daughter of the late Edward and Eleanor (Krumnow) Perry.  Dorothy was married to Vernon Pauley from June 25, 1949 until the time of his passing in 2005.  Together they raised their family and ran a few restaurants in the Milwaukee area.  She played a key role in the restaurants management structure throughout the years.  She enjoyed tending to her plants, and especially enjoyed Violets.  She also enjoyed bird watching, she was partial to cardinals.  Dorothy is survived by her children; Kathy (Bob) Schumacher, Steve (Julie) Pauley; sisters; June Gratz; Betty Murphy; grandchildren; Ken, Robin, Katie, Sarah, Adriane, Bradley; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter; Jenny; siblings Jack Hoesel, Charles Krumnow, Edward Perry, Tom Perry, Alice Lewandowski, Shirley Koch, Carol Kaiser; and other relatives.  A Cemetery Committal Service will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery 21731 Spring Street Union Grove, WI on Wednesday February 15, 2023 at 11:00AM in the Committal Shelter.
