Duke A. Swan, age 56 of West Allis, WI, died suddenly on Sunday afternoon June 23, 2019 at Froedtert and the Medical College of WI in Wauwatosa, WI.
Duke Anthony Swan was born on June 14, 1963 in Chicago, IL, the son of Bel and Irene Derx Swan. On March 27, 2000 at Powers Lake, WI, Duke was united in marriage to Russel Gatchalian. They lived in East Troy, WI before moving to West Allis in 2002.
Duke served in the U.S. Navy. Duke worked as a machinist for the Stainless Foundry and Engineering, Inc. in Milwaukee, WI. He organized the Wisconsin Sportster Owners Group. He loved riding his Harley, morel mushroom hunting, fishing and eating sushi. He also enjoyed his dog Ozone.
Duke is survived by: His wife "Maria" Russel of West Allis, WI; Daughter, Hannah Swan of Milwaukee, WI and his parents, Bel and Irene Swan of Powers Lake, WI.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Irene (Derx) Dzija and Duke Derx.
The Swan Family will receive friends from 11:00AM to 1:00PM on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home, 620 Legion Dr. Twin Lakes, WI. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30PM at St. John's Catholic Church, 701 N. Lake Ave. Twin Lakes, WI. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
