Edmund L. Gadek age 87 of Powers Lake, WI.  Died January 31, 2018.  He was born on Oct 27, 1930 in Chicago, IL.  The son of the late Stanley and Sofia (Lisak) Gadek.   He was united in marriage to Ann Marie Matye who preceded him in death in 1996.  He was united in marriage to Shirley (Frost) Beinlich on Oct 20, 2005.   Edmund was the owner of Ace Hardware in Twin Lakes, WI. and Northbrook, IL.   He was a member of the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce and Twin Lakes Chamber of Commerce.  During his life he enjoyed golfing, boating, and baseball.

Edmund is survived by his wife Shirley.  His two sons Ronald (Susan) Gadek and Robert (Lisa) Gadek.  Further survived by his Stepchildren: Candice Beinlich, Michael (Chris) Beinlich, Larry (Dawn) Beinlich, Scott (Jackie) Beinlich, Kimberly (William) Anderson and Lisa (Luke) Massar.   Grandfather of Bradley Gadek, Lauren Gadek, Ryan Gadek and Michael Gadek.  Step Grandfather of Kristina Anderson, Kurt Beinlich, Kaitlyn Beinlich, Kennedy Beinlich, Sean Beinlich, Kasey Beinlich, Emmalie Beinlich, Margaret Massar, Roxanne Massar, and Luke Massar.  Greatgrandchildren: Savannah, Khloe, Cameron and Jackson.   He was preceded in death by his Brother Frank (Genevieve) Gadek, Sisters: Evelyn (Gene) Kowalski and Emily (Stanley) Zywanski. He was  also preceded in death by his Stepson Mark Beinlich and Step Grandson William Beinlich.

Funeral Mass Thursday February 8, 2018 at 9:30 at St Francis De Sales Catholic Church 148 Main St. Lake Geneva, WI.   Entombment February 8, 2018 at 1:30 PM All Saints Cemetery Des Plaines, IL.   Visitation Wednesday February 7, 2018 from 3:00PM until 9:00PM at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home 620 Legion Dr.  Twin Lakes, WI.  Visitation also 9:00AM until 9:30 at the church.   Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.  Online condolences Haaselockwoodfhs.com.
