Edward M. Osborn Jr, 77, of Powers Lake, WI passed away surrounded by his family on October 3, 2024, after a brief illness. He was born in Chicago, IL on March 9, 1947, to Maybell and Edward Osborn Sr.

Ed proudly served in the U.S. Army Security Agency from 1966 to 1972. He earned numerous commendations for his bravery and leadership during the Vietnam War. His commitment to his country was unwavering. He was an inspiration to many. One of his favorite memories was being chosen to participate in the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight on November 4, 2017.

On March 2, 1974, he was united in marriage to Edwina (Winnie) Wisniewski and together they raised three daughters in Powers Lake, WI.

Ed's favorite job was with Ironworkers Local #1, proudly working on many buildings we see among the Chicago Skyline today including the "Sears Tower". He was a member of Local #1 Ironworkers Retiree Club and a past member of the Powers Lake Sportsman Club. He was also a Lifetime member of the Twin Lakes American Legion Post #544, VFW Post #11279, and the Vietnam Veterans of America.

During his free time, he enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, woodworking, welding, playing free cell, but most of all cheering on his grandkids and spending time with his family pets.

Survived by his wife of 50 years, Winnie; daughters Christy (Matthew) Cornwell, Jennifer (Joe) Geissman, and Melinda Henningfield; Papa to Devon Henningfield and Marissa & Andrew Geissman; Brother to Barry Osborn; and numerous other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Johnny Osborn.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday October 13th, 2024, at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home 620 Legion Dr. Twin Lakes, WI. Visitation will start at 1:00PM. Military Honors will begin the service at 4:00pm.
