Edwin "Buddy" A. Runge, 94 of Elkhorn, WI, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born July 20, 1923 in Bensenville, IL, the son of the late Edwin and Lida (Landmeier) Runge.  Buddy was united in marriage to Marian Kueking on August 27, 1955.  After 25 years of marriage, Marian preceded in death on January 8, 1981.  He worked as a farmer throughout his life.  Buddy loved being outdoors, whether it be fishing, hunting or having a few beers.  He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather.

Buddy is survived by his three children; Susan (James) Speciale of Elkhorn, WI, Peggy (Thomas) Strohm of Stuart, FL and Larry (Pamela) Runge of Elkhorn, WI, eight grandchildren; Jared (Shelly), Matthew (Marleah), Erica (Juan) Andrew (Rebekah), Todd (Heather), Jennifer, Kelly (Johnathan) and Scott (Beckett), 21 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his grandson, Carl Runge and eleven brothers and sisters.

Funeral service will be 1:30PM on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory, 730 N Wisconsin St. Elkhorn, WI.  Visitation will be 11:30AM on Saturday until service time at the funeral home.
